# Xbox 360

Xbox 360 gaming console.

# RGH3 Modding

**Introduction**

RGH3 is a glitch method to mod most Xbox 360 models (not Winchester boards). It only needs 2 wires (28-30AWG) and for some boards additionally a resistor and a diode. For my motherboard, a trinity board, a 3k-10k resistor was needed. To flash the modded firmware you need to connect flash tool to the NAND on the motherboard, for this step additional cables are needed.

There are multiple different flash tools out there. The one I used is the JR-Programmer. You can also use the Raspberry Pi Pico with the [PicoFlasher.uf2](https://bookstack.greinet.com/attachments/233) software as a cheap alternative,

The software J-Runner is the most widely used NAND flasher. There are different versions, the one i used was **J-Runner with Extras**.

**Q. Can I dual boot an official NAND and a modded NAND to go online safely?**

A. Yes. If you install a TX DemoN, Squirt Dual NAND, Matrix Trident, or "NAND Sandwich mod", you will have a second (or third with Trident) NAND to boot from. This allows you to have one unmodified NAND for safe online play, and a second modified NAND for offline play.

A. Yes. ConnectX  
One useful feature of Aurora and FreeStyle Dash is the ability to stream games over the network using a plugin called ConnectX. This means that you can make backups of your games and store them on a PC, NAS, or any other Samba-capable device and play them without having them stored on your console or external hard drive. ConnectX is an official development kit tool, so it can not be distributed here.

##### **Overview**

This is a simple tower defense game made by students at Gymnasium Landau a.d. Isar in the year 2016. It was a project work done as training exercise in groups of 5.

They used daemontools to mount the ISO file, then link the disk from daemontools to the virtual machine disk drive.
